Bachna Ae Haseeno

'bachna ae haseeno' is Directed by Siddharth Anand. The director has come up with a very interesting subject and has presented it equally well but then he lost out on the narrative at key points. This film is a love story film. The Director mainintantion is to entertine the audions.

The tale of hearts, the story begins with Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) who is a happy go lucky guy and believes in the game of love as a conquest than feelings. He is a charmer and knows how to woo women. His first victim is Mahi (Minissha Lamba) the innocent girl who gives her dedicated love to him only to realize that it was just a game for Raj. Then comes Radhika (Bipasha) the flamboyant and aggressive woman who believes in a dare all bare all concept, however the woman in her is awakened by Raj and when she has completely fallen head over heels in love with him he drops his hat.

Life goes on for him until he meets Gayatri (Deepika) and for the first time he seriously gets involved in the relationship and just when he pops up the question to her, Gayatri rejects him outright. The past comes back hitting to Raj and in no time he decides to redeem for his misdoings. He goes in search of Mahi and finally finds her only to see her happily married, however he apologises to her genuinely and gets her pardon but it is not so easy when he finds Radhika, she gives him a hard time and finally teaches him a lesson before she forgives and forgets. In the meantime, Gayatri realizes Raj's true love and starts reaching out for him but then he is not around. And what happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.

Presentation:

The dialogues were good, the visuals were stunning and the locations were out of the world, however the script was weak and the screenplay was shoddily executed. Even the songs failed to impact except for 'Khuda Jaane' but the background score was impressive. Editing should have been better during the second half, cinematography was spectacular. Ranbir surely fitted the role of a flirtatious playboy and the transformation to a realization was well executed by him, Minissha is pretty but needs to work on her diction, Deepika is beautiful but then her role was written in haste and lacked depth. The real show stealer was Bipasha who really stole the limelight with her towering presence and some captivating emotional scenes. Kunal Kapoor was elegant and though his role was brief he made his presence felt strongly. Hiten paintal was a revelation, he has talent. The others did not have much to do in it.
